the hospital itself has lovely people working there, and quite competent, this review is about the EMERGENCY ROOM,I went in on a sunday night with gallstones and excruciating pain, 90 mins i was left in a room in excruciating pain. I left, and the next morning went to Urgent care , pagosa medical group still screaming in pain, the entire place seemed to focus on me, turns out I had not only gall stones but an infected gall bladder, which had it burst could have killed me, i had emergency surgery, so tho the hospital itself is a decent place , the er is filled with people that lack an ounce of empathy, whomever runs the er has failed to put people first, so unlike their competition, that was my 2nd nightmare in the er in 3 years, when a person is in pain all they want is to know , hay we get u fixed, , we are a small town , no gunshots or knifing victims , yet I waited 90 mins,, I would advise everyone to avoid it all costs, a nightmare, in waiting one would think that a google review page filled with tons of 1 stars would give them a clue, vincent ginardi
