The North Ala Sckle Cell Foundation is doing a great job in raising awareness and providing support to individuals with sickle cell disease. They have a very informative website (sicklecellna.org) that offers a lot of valuable resources. I recently attended one of their events and was impressed by the knowledgeable speakers and the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The foundation truly cares about the community they serve and I am grateful for their efforts.
