Negotiated for the vehicle over the phone. Flew up from Florida to purchase a Maserati Granturismo. Issue with car upon arrival at dealership. The tech fixed the issue but the car had scratches and a poor tint job. I overlooked all these issues because I really wanted to the vehicle. They said they'd reimburse me for my flight and pay for my gas but then said they couldn't pay me on the spot but would send me a check. I bought the car, got down the road and realized they only filled the tank up half way, which was really shady considering they said they'd top it off before I left... I called them and they said they'd reimburse that too in the check they'd send. Anyway, I made it back to Florida, got the car inspected, despite the fact they said it was done by the authorized Maserati dealership. Brake pads were worn and it was due for service in 49 miles plus the headlight was malfunctioning. The light was covered under warranty thankfully. To add to headaches... I never received my new tag/reg which I paid for when I purchased the car. I went to the DMV and they said Coast to Coast never processed it, despite cashing my check. Overall I love the car, after I got it up to par with the standards I was made to believe it was at when I purchased it. Also, my reimbursement check arrived, eventually, but after weeks of harassment on my part and it was only for $350. My flight cost $366.00 and my gas was $106.00. Granted, I would of given them a decent rating but this wasn't like I purchased a honda civic... It was a Maserati for christ sakes. I shouldn't of had to deal with all the headaches... the poor communication after the fact, the cosmetic issues and the lack of service... topped off with having to go to the DMV to purchase my tag and registration, after already paying Coast to Coast for it and never receiving a refund from them... I'll leave it like this, you should get white glove service when purchase higher end cars. Maybe it was because I showed up in a sweats wearing an Army t-shirt or something, maybe it's because I look young, I don't know... but I'm a lawyer, I have several vehicles and love cars. I have purchased many high end vehicles from all over and I won't put myself through the headache of going to Coast to Coast again.
