I have had a membership there twice. Stopped when I could no longer afford it (NO PROBLEMS), and once while a student at EITC. Student discount was spectacular and 400ish was for the year not 2 months. Once I was no longer a student, I quite the membership again. I was going to a 4 year university that had a gym, which was free to the students. Again NO PROBLEM leaving.

I hear everybody talking about collections. My thought - CONTRACT! The definition: Legal and binding form for services. READ YOUR CONTRACT -PAY YOUR BILL! I have never heard anyone being sent to collection for paying their bill.

Just like your cell phone service - "CONTRACT". To leave "EARLY" and terminate your contract, you have to pay the amount stated IN YOUR CONTRACT.

Would you buy a house without reading the contract?
