Like all hospitals, the experience you have is based on the department and the shift of staff you meet ... With this premise I would like to thank all those who have honored their role. Doctors, nurses, OSS, cleaners and security guards who have lived up to the job they do and who would deserve applause at every swipe of badges. It is with your kindness, humanity and skills that the foundations of this institution are built.

On the contrary, I would like to remind all the others who have behaved listlessly, with rude and gratuitously unpleasant attitudes, that they are just a miserable caricature of the role they play ... And that one day, in time of need, they will find someone who will treat how they treat others.

Definitely a structure of excellence, in which you can find several specialist centers, a parapharmacy, a bookshop, a restaurant / bar, a bank with an ATM (Unicredit), many waiting rooms, refreshment points, covered and uncovered parking lots ( all for a fee) and a piano.

Unfortunately, however, there are shadows on the management and control of personnel ... I will give some examples: dozens of doctors, nurses and porters smoking one meter from the waiting room of the emergency room; air conditioning not working in some departments during the day and (magically) working during visiting hours; gauzes, gloves and remnants of dressings left on the floor in patient rooms; elderly people with mental problems related to the bed and left screaming and at the mercy of themselves; wards that patients are lost between surgery and hospitalization ...

And that's just what I managed to notice by visiting it for an hour a day for a week.

Perhaps if the medical director came out of his office he would also notice the gatherings of his doctors, huddled in five and without masks at the coffee tables.

It would be enough for him to pick up the receiver and try to call the public relations office to notice that no one ever answers.

It is useless to boast of the "patient's right to complain" if the means to complain are not available, right? Good in words, less good in deeds.

Accessible via the east ring road towards Pineta Sacchetti or via the FL3 line towards Bracciano (departures from Tiburtina / Ostiense / Tuscolana station).
