The good points:

The good points:
Fantastic location in terms of transport links.
Pleasant and welcoming lobby staff.
Well proportioned rooms for central London.
Exceptionally comfortable beds with high quality bedding.
Free soft drinks and snacks in mini bar a nice touch.
Tea/coffee making facilities with good quality teas & coffee.
Rooms are very well equipped.
Room service breakfast was excellent both in terms of quality and variety.
Room service and housekeeping staff provided professional and friendly service.
Complimentary evening drink in the lobby also a nice touch.

Scope for Improvement:
No natural ventilation in room (window could not be opened)
Air con awkward to use and noisy.
Decor slightly a oppressive as very limited natural light in room.
Food in brasserie and wine bar average with quite limited menus. Service in both very hit and miss. Overpriced for the quality of the offer.
The hotel is a bit of a maze and as such it is possible to say where the heart of the hotel.

If this hotel was a 4* I would have left thinking it was a good 4*. However, the Andaz has s 5* classification and in comparison to other 5* hotels I have stayed init just doesn t cut the mustard,

There are four star hotels in zLondon with a similar offer at a lower room rate and I would child choose one or those for future trips to
London.
