So I get an email from Raphael Brites Da Silva asking for a google recommendation. Be careful what you ask for.

Not impressed with Raphael. My daughter brings in her car for one answer. Is the work covered under the SBC warranty. She ends up with a comprehensive inspection and a $200 diagnosis bill. Any reputable shop would have performed a brake inspection and "quick test" for no charge. The tech didn't even take the time to run a complete diagnosis of the SBC, only a "quick test". His recommendations are considered preventive maintenance and possible contributing factors, but would be necessary prior to a diagnosis of the malfunction. I'm convinced that a "Full SBC Test" would have shown any stored SBC faults and possible remedies; and would have shown if the SBC itself had failed to the point where it would be a warranty consideration.

The shop was quick to recommend over $2,000 of maintenance, but the root cause of the visit was not addressed in these costs. This was sent to MB Service manager in good faith; no response. So here I am on google to tell the world. Will be using Clearwater and Fields in the future.
