My 12 year old son and I had a great time. We were beginners, but our guide was fantastic and very patient with us and still provided a full ride. I would recommend them and a great excursion to add to your itinerary if you are camping nearby like us. We rode Sunny and Buttercup. My son stated how it was so much fun. I would recommend wearing pants vs shorts like us. If there are puddles on the trail, the horse naturally walks around them vs through it and gets close to side brushes and branches that can scrape your legs.
