Overall, the hotel is in the early stages of becoming dingy. Carpets in the rooms show extreme wear and the wooden floors creak substantially. Due to my late arrival and departure (2:00 AM), I booked two extra nights to insure that I had a room to access immediately upon arrival and shower prior to departure - despite this,my Lifetime Titanium status and stated preference for a high-floor room, I was still given a regular room on the lowest floor. I found sleeping with numerous occupancy sensors (I hope that is what they were) blinking all night an unnerving distraction. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of food, but the crowded seating afforded no privacy to communicate with my colleagues and despite having more servers than any restaurant I have ever observed, the service was consistently poor - constantly had to wave frantically just to have my black coffee refreshed. Note that my dining experiences at Bukhara and Tian were wonderful. On my last evening prior to check-out, I was entering the shower when the sliding door shattered (it was NOT slammed shut in any manner), proceeded to detach from the hardware and fall in upon me. Fortunately, the glass was tempered such that there were no large sharp pieces, but needless to say, I was very disturbed. Upon check-out, barely an apology was offered for my inconvenience. Bottom line: unless you are an Indian national, expect less-than-respectful treatment and courtesy..
