My dad was at this center for six months in both the rehab and the long term sections. I was there every day to protect him! During those six months my dad had multiple medical issues for which the nursing response was slow. These incidents resulted in multiple transfers to the E.R., two hospitalizations, one resulting in an emergency surgery. The surgery was due to an unexplained problem with a catheter resulting in massive hemorhaging. The other hospitalization was due to pneumonia which developed from undiagnosed h1n1 flu. The DON and the Medical Director were less than professional and honestly I was embarrassed for their response and lack of action when I approached them on these issues. Once the COVID lockdown occurred my dad only survived two weeks.
