Doug Murphy Review of Harris Ford Lincoln Mercury

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! Knowing that we were going to be in Seattle for a couple days attending a conference we thought we would look online since we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for in Walla Walla. We found what seemed like we were looking for online. We were dealing with 4 different dealerships in the area letting them compete for our business ended up making 3 appointments. Let me tell you about Harris Ford. It started with an email inquiry about wanting to see a specific vehicle. (I'd done some research and was hesitant because of the online reviews) Gil Fret the Internet manager called me to find out when we would be in down. I was shocked when I told him we'd only be in town 2 days and he said hold on let me actually make sure the vehicle is available. He was so honest and professional. All the other dealers promised they'd driven the vehicles and the were great but i'd never given them a stock number... Seemed like empty promises. Gil verified the info and when he looked into it said that the vehicle wasn't actually available but was currently going through a safety inspection at a sister lot . He wanted to have one of his top salesman track the vehicle and make sure we could see it when we got there. Rikk Holguin, tracked the vehicle and kept us informed every step of the way. It was crazy right off he asked what was my preferred method of communication (phone/text/email) I said text. He then asked what hours I'd be in the conference because he didn't want to disturb me with updates. Incredible!!! We ended up staying a day extra and pushing our visit out a day so we could see the vehicle we wanted they didn't try to force us in they we honest so it felt worth it to wait . Unfortunately Rikk wasn't going to be available but he had Marrissa McCreary contact me about seeing the vehicle seemed good so far. When we showed up at the dealer I was initially a little worried. It was so much busier that all the lots we had been to and I'll be honest, I was really worried when I saw Marissa. She is a beautiful woman and I thought oh great their going to send some pretty girl out to try to charm me into buying. Well let me say... Although she was charming, I was floored how much she knew about cars. Not just the car we bought all the cars. I'm a car guy and my mind was blown away by the level of her knowledge. I really love this dealership and how they do business, they didn't have Marissa just try to use her charm and knowledge to close us. I felt like she was our assistant in the process not a competitor but on our team. But then we had to talk to a Sales Manager. When he came down to finalize the price and sales process I was starting to get anxious. I was holding my breath and ready for a sleazy sales guy. Instead we had Rob Cuddigan, Rob came down. He was so down to earth and so relaxed. He made the process so easy. He took any anxiety or doubt away 1000%. I've bought a ton of cars in my life. Never have I had such a pleasant experience. To be honest I don't think it was isolated. As we finished things it seemed like all the other people in the dealership were having a similar experience . Harris was the last dealer that we went to because the vehicle wasn't immediately available. But that just made the experience all the better. We saw 3 other dealerships try all sorts of shady moves and deception but in the end we got a great vehicle, at a great price, and had a great experience. We drove from Walla Walla, Wa. and it was absolutely worth it. Bravo!!! One last thing to close at the end Gil Fret came out 3 or 4 times through out the process to make sure we were getting taken care of. Amazing.
