It was a pleasure working with Square One. Square One did an outstanding job renovating our outdated, downstairs bathroom, and fixing several other features of our house. We recommend the company highly, due to their professionalism, efficiency, and the skill of their team. They are experts, and we were very happy with the process and the final product.

From the beginning to the end, the Square One team, Jordan Harrison, Joey Hymers, and in particular the project leader, Matt Hutton, defined professionalism. They were respectful, polite, and trustworthy. Importantly, they have very high standards for their work, and for the work of the other members of their team. They made sure that we, as the customers, were satisfied with both the vision of the final renovation, and with the step-by-step process used to achieve that goal.

Specifically, at the initial meetings, Jordan Harrison, Joey Hymers, and Matt Hutton told us about the policies that define the company and explained how the entire process would work. After listening to what our goals were, they came up with an excellent and detailed vision for how the completely renovated bathroom would look, and how the other repairs would be addressed. They provided a clear timeline for completion of the project that fit with our schedule. The fixed price contract meant that we didn t have to make dozens of decisions along the way and worry about whether any of our choices would add to the cost. The company has defined worksite protocols that were posted at the site, thus making expectations clear.

The project leader, Matt Hutton, was terrific. He listened carefully, discussed things with us, and continually made sure that we were happy with the way things were progressing. He is exceptionally professional and has very high standards for his work. He came up with creative solutions for dealing with a very small bathroom space, and if something didn t turn out the way he wanted or wasn t done to his satisfaction, he made modifications. He gave us great confidence and made the whole process very easy. We felt that we could discuss any aspect of the project with him, that he would listen, and provide excellent advice. All of the trades people and assistants that worked with Matt were also very professional and polite, and did excellent work. Matt is a stickler for keeping the workplace clean and tools and materials were always stored neatly at the end of every workday. The work was completed in a timely manner and Matt made sure that every last detail was taken care. The results are terrific. Our moldy 1970 s era basement bathroom has been transformed into something much more beautiful than what we had imagined. The other work done on our home by Matt and his team was superb and thorough, and solved longstanding problems. We would certainly use Square One again and can t say enough good things about the whole experience.
