I purchased A new mobile home that was delivered 04/19. We didn t move into the house until 05/2020.
In 04/2021 I filed a claim on 2 windows one of these windows the top being a fixed double pane insulated glass lost the seal causing it to sweat between the two panes. The other one will not stay open when raised.
An adjuster came and after his inspection I was told he has seen this other times and repair would likely fail again so replacement would be better. Two weeks later I received a call from the insurance company saying they had denied the claim due to normal wear and use. My policy was for 5 years.
Update 05/25/21, I was informed they had reversed the decision and would Honor my claim.
