Our group of 7 went to have dinner here on December 30th, 2017. We were seated in the back of the restaurant where it was super dark (so dark we needed our cell phone flashlights to see the menus). the restaurant was fairly busy but not full. Two people we knew when we came in decided to join us (they had only been seated but hadn't ordered yet) so we became a table of 9.
Their waitress came over eventually told them that she would continue to serve them but someone else was going to take care of us because it was her only her 2nd night. We waited for several more minutes until she came back and said she would have our whole table after all. She left and returned several minutes later to take our drink order. We had to ask for menus. She apologized but it was several minutes before we got them. I should say at this point that I was watching to see how many tables she had because I didn't think it was fair that she had our table, she was clearly overwhelmed and looked scared to death (as any one would be on their 2nd night on the job). It appeared that she was serving 2-3 other tables spread out throughout the restaurant and bar... She came back over several minutes later to take our order but had no drinks in tow. We told her we'd like our drinks too so she disappeared again to get them without taking our order.
Another waitress came over and announced she would be helping her. I told her I thought that was a good idea because it wasn't fair to her to have this big group who planned on ordering several drinks, appetizers and meals. She disappeared and we never saw her again. A couple people in our group went to the bar to get beer.
Eventually we got our drinks and she took our appetizer order. We never got to order more drinks from her and some of the apps weren't correct. We ate what was brought to us and went to the bar to order more drinks. Another group of our friends came in and planned to eat dinner because we were there They ended up leaving after we filled them in on our service thus far. They told us they already knew how bad the place was and left.
The waitress took our food order eventually, she was very confused so we went slow. When the food came out, burgers were not cooked correctly, toppings weren't right and no, no one came to check on us... I don't eat raw hamburger so I sent mine back to have it cooked thoroughly. At this point we were the only ones left in the restaurant, I got my order 20 minutes later after everyone was gone so I asked for it to go. It took 3 people to get my order together.... At that point we were all very upset and asked for our checks. That was another 10 minutes... While the checks were paid I waited by the door and decided to speak to one of the other waitresses about our experience. We made it clear it was not the waitress's fault and that it was clearly poor management. We had heard that the restaurant had issues but we gave them a chance anyway. We planned to go back the following night for New Year's Ever but there was no way that was happening.
They were somewhat apologetic and my burger was a hockey puck....
