My husband and I traveled to Bali for our honeymoon. We spent 3 nights at The Kayon before heading to Nusa Lembongan. We did not go to the newer property the Kayon Jungle because we didn t know about it but on arriving we were asked if that s where we were staying so we thought we might have been missing out by choosing the older one but The original Kayon was perfect. The Kayon was exactly what we wanted for our jungle stay in Ubud. The resort is immaculate, gorgeous, quiet, and the views are perfect. We participated in the morning walk, yoga class, I used the gym, we had a 90 minute couples massage and we had the candlelight dinner. We chose the 8 course Balinese menu which was very tasty. All of the staff was just wonderful especially Dewa who served us a few nights. Beny at the reception desk was very kind too. Every time you come back to the resort they say welcome home , which is really how they make you feel. We appreciated the free shuttle to Ubud center every hour which allowed us to get around the area. The resort is built right next to a waterfall and you can hear the calm sounds throughout most of the resort. They have thought of every detail from the welcome drink, to the flower arrangements, to the soft music they play by the pool. It s truly a gorgeous place to visit. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special.
