Darlene Elkin's lived in Orange County, her sister lived in their county.
how can their detective close a case before actually investigating something more thorough. Darlene left with her sister early 7 am from Cypress home. At the time we the neighbors did not know that she was her sister because the sister never visited Darlene nor the brother in over 17 years. Soon after that morning that Darlene left with this woman she was posted on the Missing website. a few days later she was found dead in her car with 2 bullet wounds and was ruled homicide.
here where it gets interesting. She was found dead 26 miles from her sisters home. the sister came within a day and cleared out the home where Darlene lived with her brother. When the car came back you could tell that this was not done in her car as stated. We asked them to reopen and no response.
