I have been a customer of the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General for several years, and I must say that my experience with them has been average. While they do provide a necessary service, I often find their processes to be slow and inefficient. It can take weeks or even months for them to complete an investigation, which can be frustrating when you are awaiting the resolution of a case. Additionally, I have found their communication to be lacking at times. I often have to follow up multiple times to get a response, which is not ideal. However, I will say that the staff is knowledgeable and professional, and they do try their best to assist you. Overall, my experience with the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General has been average.
