I had a beautiful day at Bella Vista!! The course was tight and well manicured. At a par 70, the course is slightly shorter than some others, but maintains a challenge all the way through. In particular the 9th and 10th holes are two of the most memorable, you will likely talk about to your friends for years. Number 9 is a "blind" uphill Par 3 between twin towering trees, that if you over-hit can come into play with water. Number 10 is the signature hole, a long Par 3 that must carry over the Bella Vista fountain and water features. The dining area was pleasant, they day I was there, it was mostly members chatting it up, but everybody was cordial. The burger was excellent. I finished my day with a professional shoe cleaning and valet service for only $5. Definitely a Gem in the NJ golf scene!
