I just finished the tour from Bruges to Amsterdam, I think the preferred route because of favorable winds. Our whole crew was fantastic. Our group ranged in age from 9 to 81.
Although we faced record heat, our bicycle guide, Piet put together riding and appropriate rest stops so we all felt refreshed enough for each day. The food was terrific. Our hostess was kindly and our skipper guided our barge, the Anna Antal with great skill. 4 had electrics and 11 without. We pedaled at a leisurely pace although you can speed up if you are sure of the way.
