Late evening arrival by car. No valet in sight ($23 valet, $18 DIY parking). A queue of 3 families waiting for the check-in, some with kids. Not the longest, but easily the slowest check-in line in recent memory. 10 minutes later the only receptionist is still struggling to process the first couple, as kids are getting predictably restless. Eventually my turn comes, but without any of the Platinum member benefits: no upgrades, just an: enjoy the top floor. Usual waiving of resort/WiFi fee is also not available. Top floor upgrade is #11 out of 16.

Room is clean. Furniture and flat-screen are new, with HDMI & VGA connectors to wire TV as a monitor (nice). Some walls and the window sill are scuffed. No free water for preferred/Platinum members - the 1st!

As a self-proclaimed 4-5 star hotel, this facility doesn't measure up on many fronts. As is, it's a bit overpriced and massively under-managed.
