Have been coming to Blyth for over 30 years. Team on the Hill was the worst play I have ever attended there. A big surprise considering Dan Needles is the playwright. Could not even wait until intermission to leave.
It was just poorly done. They couldn't even get the makeup right. (Young son's stick on sideburns did not meet his hair, leaving a white gap above them. Such was the level of effort expended on this production.)
We will go back to Blyth, as we have seen many fine performances there. This just wasn't one of them.
