A Subaru Impreza 1.6L TS AWD (05-GS-XN) was bought here some time ago. This was my first car, so I simply did a bad buy (own fault). The fact is that the 'check engine' light was on and blinking. After having had the car in my possession for a while, it didn't feel good to me and I got rid of it again, after which the next owner discovered that a cylinder was not working properly. Hence the blinking check engine light, instead of being constantly on. I was told from the garage (I checked after the test drive) that this should be due to a missing catalyst or something. Nonsense so. What I blame this garage is that they sell a car in this state without warning. A garage should know this in the first place and also indicate it.
