A few days ago, I had to take my daughter to an outpatient clinic in a private Athens clinic with a company emergency coverage policy. The reason was that I had to remove a suture from the child's foot (the suture was placed in a provincial town). When I called 1010 to inform them, they replied that suture removal is not covered by the contract, "because it is not an emergency". I asked (by e-mail) the company if they consider removing stitches a chronic condition, since they do not consider it an emergency. Still waiting for an answer.
I put the second star because my insurer was well taken care of. I have also encountered the same companies over and over in other companies, and even the "serious" ones.
