Barbara Rowe-Pryde Review of Valley Slurry Seal
If I could give this slurryseal #2 on our driveway...
If I could give this slurryseal #2 on our driveway in Mendocino a zero, I would. It was done more than three months ago and is awful!! I've had an old towel on the mat at the front door to attempt to catch some of the millions of little asphalt bits that get tracked all over. We've spent >$200 to have a specialist try to clean a oil/asphalt stain from our wool carpet. I've swept our huge driveway and just finished power-washing the entire area, washing gallons of the tiny asphalt rocks off the driveway and into our meadow and flower beds. We had this product done 12 years ago with their #1 (not #2) and had zero problems. It was smooth and nice, like asphalt, but we were lied to by both the representative and the person who arranged the paving in the neighborhood and several driveways. We are now out the $1,250 to do the job, $200+ for cleaning, time and effort sweeping and power washing and are now looking at another $1,150 to double seal it with a local paving company. I would never recommend this product.
