I do feel this is a company that wants to do well for their field for their clients. As an employee, I did get some bitter sweet treatment in the end. My employment lasted for roughly 2 months as an operations analyst. It was understood before I was hired that I am a student finishing my last year of school so we were supposed to work out a schedule that can work until my last year was done and then I would move to full time. When I let them know 6 weeks in advance about a change on my school schedule (for a future quarter), they responded with firing me two days later, instead of having a discussion first or giving me some time to look for other employment.
The irony is this is a company that is supposed to remain understanding about how important it is to be employed since that is what they stand for, and my supervisor had asked me to just keep her informed on things in advance so we can prepare for the future properly, but this wasn't the same respect given to me by leaving me quickly without a job for being a good employee and keeping them informed of everything I could. They let an employee become settled at their company, who did everything that was asked of them, and abruptly fired them so they can quickly move on to someone new to train sooner.
They do deserve a star for being friendly and my coworkers were all great to work with. This is a friendly and positive work environment, just as long as you are what they need or they will quickly cut you loose without warning, apparently.
