Full Disclosure: I am a non-clinical staff member at this clinic. HOWEVER, my children are also patients here. I live in Indiana, a full 40 miles from where I work and I will still bring my family here. I see how hard the staff work to ensure the patients are treated well, are healthy, and have as many of their needs met as a medical clinic can provide. I have never been to any other clinic or hospital that does as much outreach, community service or have access to partnerships and community support as IWS. This organization has provided healthcare to Chicago for more than 107 years and it's not hard to see why or how. I love how they are always helping families and having events for the entire community. The doctors are all very patient and the MAs are so kind. When my son was sick they were so patient with him. He was just a baby and terrified but they gave him a book and a toy to calm him down and they were very kind and understanding. Whenever I visit the clinic, the staff ask me how he's doing- even those who don't know me or my son by name. When you are used to high quality, it's easy to forget that people are only human and that no one is perfect all of the time. I've read some of the bad reviews and I am so sorry that those individuals have had poor experiences, but overall, I believe very strongly that IWS is an amazing clinic and a great place to receive medical care.
