Fantastic. We went for the Irish immigrant day and had such a great time. The weather was not the best, despite the forecast calling for sun, but you could spend as much time as you wanted indoors or under shelter as you spent time with all the animals and did all of the actitivies. We started out with traditional music in the guest reception and went on to the piglets, lambs (one only 3 days old, adorable), horse, cows, a calf, and various poultry, including the most gorgeous black and white turkey. We went into the kitchen and various other farm buildings and helped with the 'chores' for spring cleaning, My nephew, who is 11, got a real taste of life 100 years ago. We got to plant seeds, try Irish dancing, and even make a scarecrow. We also got to see fly tying for fishing from a master of the art. The staff and volunteers were all so friendly, we loved it. We would have stayed all day but lunch beckoned. We also had a short ride around the farm in the hay wagon and had a tour of the owner of the farm's cottage and garden. If you want something fun, educational and all natural, this is the perfect place to visit.
