I have been associated with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) for a considerable period of time, and I must say that their support has been excellent. The website (jsps.go.jp) provides all the necessary information about their grants and programs. The application process was efficient, and the staff was friendly and responsive. JSPS has greatly contributed to my research success.
