I had a past injury rear its ugly head again back in December 2019, exertional compartment syndrome in my calf. I thought surgery was inevitable as last time physical therapy didn't work. Big shout out to Tony, not only has he given me the tools to build up and strengthen all parts of my legs but he has helped me understand the science behind pain and pain management. Mathis gives you the guidance to not only recover but build up a better strength management and stretching routine that is crucial for active people so that other injuries are less likely to occur. This approach is often left out in other physical therapy offices. The entire staff are very friendly and it really feels like a big family there. I just finished a backpacking trip this weekend, 13 miles, carrying 27 pounds of backpack weight over a 12,500ft mountain in Colorado and without Tony's knowledge, commitment, patience and expertise I would still be recovering from another brutal surgery. Thank you Mathis for changing my life!
