The Barnes foundation is not an art Museum. It is an experience. From their amazing collection of old to modern artwork and then to the live performance events held their regularly, The Barnes is a must go place for any Philadelphia Tourist OR native Philadelphian. I have been blessed to see the collection once on a trip with school and another time after performing there free of charge. It was an amazing experience and the tour guides are very intimate and have an impressive amount of knowledge on just about any piece there. I have performed a piece entitled Que Pasa Ahora with a Temple Graduate, Christina Castro Tauser. two times and each time the crowd was extremely energetic but respectful and controlled. The energy at the Barnes is unmatched and I would love to perform there once again.
