CERCICA - Co-operative for Education and Rehabilitation of Inadvertent Citizens of Cascais - was born on March 11, 1976 to meet the educational needs of children and young people with intellectual disabilities and disabilities.
In these 43 years of activity it has been diversifying its social responses promoting quality of life and inclusion.
Currently they carry out activities in the areas of Education, Training and Employment, Occupational Activities, Sporting and Recreational Activities, Home and Residential Support.
They are, for example, that cultivate and supply the plants that are cyclically transplanted in the public gardens of Cascais. They also have swimming pool and gym, open to the whole community, sustaining the equipment and promoting the inclusion.
Undoubtedly an equipment of reference, already with about 200 employees, who give support to numerous situations in the county.
