John Hatcher Review of 5 Drive In

I took my daughters here for their first drive-in experience. For the most part is was ok, but the overall experience left me a little disappointed.
First off, I hadn't been to a drive-in in a long time, so I didn't realize that it was a double feature (two for one). That's a good deal if you show up for the first movie, but unfortunately I showed up for the second showing and still had to pay full price _($28.00)_.
Second, you have to be careful that the two movies are compatible (i.e. kid friendly) because if not you will have to miss one and there are no refunds.
Third, there was one car that continually shined their lights at the screen throughout most of the movie (again no refunds).
And lastly you will have to use your car radio _(unless you bring a portable one)_ to hear the movie via the localized radio station, because there are no associated movie speakers. This is great unless you battery dies, and oh they do have a battery charger. Hey maybe that explains why that car kept turning on their headlight, maybe they were trying to keep the battery charged.
The guy with the headlights and the one a few rows over that kept his car running made for a lackluster experience.
Oh one more observation, get there extremely early _(one or two hours)_ if you want a decent parking space; and make sure you bring plenty of repellent, because the mosquitos are horrendous.
