Worst experience ever with IKEA Ireland! We bought...

Worst experience ever with IKEA Ireland! We bought a couch. Was meant to be delivered the following day from 7 to 1.
Issue number 1: that night we receive a text message stating the delivery would be from 1 to 5. We are not available to suit IKEA s needs, why did you ask me to select morning then?
The delivery arrives at 1.30.
Issue number 2: the couch in the box doesn t fit inside the elevator. And the delivery guys from an external company are not authorized to take it up the stairs. They recommend we refuse the delivery and contact IKEA to rearrange a delivery with more people to have them take it up the stairs up to the 5th floor. They wouldn t open the box because they can t take the responsibility in case it gets damages.
Before they go, I try to contact IKEA to confirm this.
Issue number 3: it takes me 25 minutes to reach someone at customer service on the phone, who tells me he can t reach anyone but they would recontact me within 48 hours to rearrange a delivery.
I free up the delivery guys, go back home and try to contact someone else at IKEA.
Issue number 4: this time it is impossible to reach someone on the phone after 2 hours of attempt, we try on the online chat, wait 45 min and finally someone confirms us what the delivery guys had said: we would need to wait until the day after to contact them again, for the delivery refusal to be confirmed in the system. I ask how to contact them easily, they advise us to call at opening time at 9am.
Day 3: I call IKEA (again) this time I talk to a very rude woman, who says there are only 2 options: re-schedule a delivery but it will be with the same delivery guys and if it doesn t fit in the elevator they won t take it up the stairs, or ask for a refund.
At this point: we had gotten rid of our couch, we had taken 3 days out of work to accommodate the delivery, the sales rep at the store didn t say anything when we said we lived on the 5th floor with a 5 people elevator and I can t believe, statistically out of all IKEA s deliveries, that 100% of deliveries fit in all elevators or that elevators are always working on the day of the planned delivery. No one asked us if we wanted an option in case it wouldn t fit for more guys to come and take it up the stairs. I don t believe a company delivering furniture can t deliver furniture... our elevator is not tiny by city standards and we ordered a normal couch (small 3 seater - 2 meters long).
Issue number 4: rude woman is not bringing us any solution. + the line gets cut off before we find a solution.
We try to call again.
Issue number 5: it takes us one more hour to get someone again, who confirms there are no solution.
We end up planning a new delivery the next day, making us take a 4th day out of work.
The delivery comes, it doesn t fit in the elevator. They leave it downstairs and leave.
My partner and I open the box, the couch outside of the box fits in the elevator. It takes us 1 hour to take it out of the box, put it inside, and up.
We solved our issue ourselves with ABSOLUTELY NO HELP from IKEA. For a 700 purchase, it is unacceptable and the worst customer service.
It took us 4 days off work, 1 hour of waiting to enter the IKEA because of the line at the store since post covid reopening, 4 alarms at 7 am on a day off, countless hours on the phone, 2 delivery attempts and backaches from carrying a couch in 2 ourselves while there was a company specifically dedicated to this.
