The hotel has an excellent location - right beside the train station, near a lot of restaurants, and is within walking distance to many attractions - the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Berlin Story Bunker, Berlin Spy Museum and other attractions can be conveniently reached by train or bus.

As it was New Years, the street directly beside the hotel was a spot for setting off fireworks. As midnight approached, the streets were flooded with people and fireworks were exploding all over the place.

The rooms were decent. Toilet was big and functional, but the TV seemed old and unresponsive.

However, my experience in the hotel itself was not extremely pleasant. I stayed over the New Years so it was very crowded. After midnight, many people were trying to get to their rooms and there was no staff to control the flow of traffic. Furthermore, some elevators were down which meant more time waiting for them.

The next morning, the elevators were still down. Half of them were not working and we waited quite some time for the elevator to arrive.
