It seemed to me like the experienced instructors knew what to teach, but the school tied their hands behind their back and gave them a generic, less valuable list of what the upper management of the school thought should be taught. Virtually all of the instructors said "Man, I wish I could teach you what you really NEED to know... but this is what they say I have to teach you". And they were right.
When I left the school and re-entered my industry, the things they should have taught were considered too expensive, despite having the equipment and trainers who knew what we needed to know for the working world.
To sum it up, I got a watered down education with a certificate of completion that means nothing to the industry I was following.
