I found that East Side provided me with some stability when I was trying to find a decent church. I ultimately chose a closer Church of God to the university I go to out of connivence, but I still listen to plenty of East Sides sermons. I used to think that a good sermon was one in which I could basically understand the point that the preacher was making. It is so great to listen to sermons that are more than just intelligible. Better yet to hear heart felt messages from diverse speakers who are genuinely interested in building relationships with each other as well as with God.
