Had a great sales experience with Matt leasing an E Class sport last fall, a 5 star experience. Fast forward to today with a tire issue. 8 k miles on the car. Developed a bubble issue in the tire sidewall. The service experience at this dealership is vastly different in a bad way from other dealerships where we shop like Don Rosen Audi Porsche and Main Line Range Rover. The service valets when they aren't staring at their phones are subpar at best. A few grunts. Handed a ticket with no direction. Where is service, who do I speak with etc. No response . Was informed immediately by the service advisor without even a cursory look at the actual tire that it was caused by a road hazard and hence not covered. Only option to purchase a new tire. A non client centric discussion ensued regarding the non existent road hazard warranty on OEM and was informed without empathy that a new tire could be purveyed at the MSRP plus labor which frankly is absurd. Being stuck on a Friday afternoon in July decided to put it on. Without any communication was finally called by my last name that the car was finished. Checked out without being offered any information related to the supposed road hazard warranty on the new tire. After being told my car had been washed which it clearly hadn't been based upon the amount of grease smeared on the new tire and rim, I walked past the valets staring at their phones to retrieve my car with the paper flood mats still in place, key ring with check in ring still on it and my orthopedic seat cushion chucked into the back seat. Without a grunt, ackowlegement or wave from anyone I was off a customer for life. Not.
