The resort/hotel was not as pictured. Our room was dirty. The porch was littered with trash. The gardens were just grass and weeds, no flowers. The food was so so. It needs a facelift and a cleanup. The staff was nice and helpful. I would have driven miles out of the way not to stay there. We had left the Gage Hotel which was wonderful and went on to Hotel St. George in Marfa., Both were much nicer and cheaper. We would never go back to Lajitas. We were guests for one night at the end of March 2016.
