I went to emergency in JFK for the dizziness of my husband . They did a good job so far. By the time we get there they have done all necessary tests very fast. But after the tests, the nurse on duty let us know that we have to admit for some further investigation . So we have to wait to get a seat to be ready. From 12:00 noon to 8:05 pm my husband who is a patient of dizziness and myself is been waiting to be in the bed to be ready by the hospital. They had a chair in emergency which I didn t feel very comfortable for my husband to be in there for a long time. That needs to be change immediately . And provide some comfortable beds for the emergency patients. One more thing I felt that the hospital supervisor should involved them that to get a bed should not take so long like 7- 8 hours for nothing. Even they haven t had any arrangements of food like lunch or dinner for the patients. That is ridiculous . After 8:30 pm I had to buy a subway for my husband who s admission is been decided after an hour of being in the hospital. It s a shame for the hospital authorities .
