We used Tentinger Landscaping for over two years. During that time we spent over $20K in landscaping (not including the fees for weekly maintenance). The weekly maintenance crew was fine. However - many of the trees that were planted died within the first 2-3 years. Those that died within 2 years were replaced for free under warranty. Those that died after 2 years were no longer under warranty. I had to spend the same amount of money to replace them.

For example, one of the many projects we had Tentinger do was the installation of 6 Canadian Hemlocks. The cost was somewhere around $4500-$5000. Within 3 years 4 of the 6 had to be replaced (3 after the warranty expired). Another landscape company removed two of the dead hemlocks this morning and showed me where the roots had been cut. In his words the trees never had a chance.

We also had 3 bald cypress installed by Tentinger. All 3 are dead - after the warranty expired. I have not yet had them removed - but fully expect their roots will have been cut as well. BUYER BEWARE!
