Beware of out of pocket expenses. I had a procedure at the outpatient surgery center. I was never informed of out of pocket expenses prior to the procedure even when I asked during registration. I later received a bill for $3000 for my 20 minute procedure. Their billing department stated it was because the surgery center was out of network and considered part of the hospital. They could have explained that before I went. I will not return. Their lack of transparency is appalling. I work in the medical field and know they could have reviewed my benefits prior. There are too many choices in healthcare. I will use another hospital for future services.
