This is the worst hospital in Mississauga. I have been to the emergency department on three different occasions for three separate issues. On my second visit they had a medical student to attend to me. Not to mention the female Doctor Who misdiagnosed me stating I had appendicitis and needed surgery! In fact I just had a kidney stone pass through my system. The third time I went I waited for 6 hours just to get the results of my x-ray for my knee which I injured. The nurses there seem rude and snobby in all three occasions that I have been there. They do not update you not check in you to see how you are doing just out of basic human compassion and courtesy. I overheard a nurse belittling an old lady who wanted to go home. She said your not going anywhere and spoke to her like a child in a very rude manner. There were two other people waiting there along with me and it was not busy at the time. We all left without seeing the Doctor. What a joke. As much as people talk about the States I often wonder if this is how it is over there. I mean people have to pay for their health care so I would think the service is far better. I think the hospital staff mistreat pal because they know we are covered by OHIP and do not care. In their minds so are not dying so we should just go to the walk in clinic. This hospital needs to be seriously reviewed on their practices as the wait time is far too long. The nurse informed me that they only had one Doctor working and that is how the hospital operates. Just a heads up. Prepare to wait long if you are in need of care or treatment. Bring an overnight bag and a jacket as it is freezing in there. Can't stand Trillium.
