My mother in law and her friends booked for 6 nigh...

My mother in law and her friends booked for 6 nights from 28 March, having arrived from Japan. There was no hot water, the heater in the room was not working, and there was no water running in the toilet and the kettle was broken. It was not possible to stay in this hotel and after a night in this horrendous condition, they moved to Metropolis London Hyde Park hotel (in fact one of hotel staffs recommended them to stay there!). We asked to speak to the manager but were told he was "away" and "staff had no authority to promise a refund" You know where they are staying right now and we expect to be contacted by the manager asap and hope he deals with it in a proper manner and give us a refund for the 6 nights as your hotel is obviously inhabitable and not fit to receive guests. If this does not happen, we will report it to the regulating body in the UK that your hotel should not be operating.
