John Wai has exceeded my expectations since joining over a year and a half ago. Prior to joining, I researched different schools and asked others for recommendations. I often heard others complain about other schools over charging them or not meeting their expectations. I eventually chose John Wai based on a friend's recommendation whose daughter attended the school from a young age and eventually became an instructor. I cannot express enough just how much my daughter has benefited from the teachings of John Wai and his awesome staff. Since joining, my daughter's level of confidence, sense of self, respect for others, profound discipline, ability to defend herself and stand up for others, and genuine love for the martial arts has blossomed and become an integral part of her life. She never wants to miss a class, whether it's Kung fu, sparring or jiu jitsu. We've since moved quite a distance from the school, however, it never occurred to us to leave the school- their commitment to the students, effective training and genuine interest in their students cannot be duplicated. My sincerest thanks to John Wai and his staff (our second family) for all you have done for my daughter, all you have done for us.
