What a disappointing visit. The resort is small to begin with, and if you are European and used to being close to the resort there are no nearby hotels, you have to drive there from Wakana or Queenstown, both usually involving snow chains and waking up really early just to get a parking space. On the plus side there was a free snow chains fitting service (felt sorry for the guys doing that job). When we got there the snow was great but for some.unexplained reason the entire resort had a power outage at 3pm and no lifts operated from there onwards, no refund offered, no explanation given. I had high hopes but unfortunately the worst ski experience I've had in. 20 years.
