We used Greens Point Catering for our wedding. We did have mixed feelings about using them as our caterer. They came highly recommended by our venue and wedding coordinators. We wanted a breakfast for dinner theme for our food, and they were the cheapest for this type of food compared to other catering companies we looked at. When we went for our tasting prior to the wedding, the food tasted so amazing and we were so excited for our guests to have the food we tasted. The big bummer was that when it came time for our wedding day, we watched our guests eat ego waffles, egg cups in a pastry shell instead of the thick Belgian waffles and crepes. The bacon, potatoes and crustless quiche we ordered did come as expected though, and all our guests raved about how good the food was, so no one seemed to notice what had gone wrong. It did all taste good, it just didn't come out as we had ordered or expected. We expressed our concern with the company afterwards, and they were very apologetic and provided us with reasoning behind why things came out the way they did, with the reason being the food order on their end did not come as they had ordered, so they did the best they could to accommodate what we ordered from them. We give 3 stars because even though on our wedding day we did not get what we ordered, they were very accommodating after the fact and provided us with reasonable explanations as to why things turned out as they did and provided us with a small refund for our troubles. During our wedding, they were appropriately staffed and we never felt like they were running behind. Overall we were not super happy that we spent quite a bit of money for food prepared in a way we did not order, but they did their best to accommodate us based off what they had and resolve the situation afterwards.
