My husband took me and another couple for my birth...

My husband took me and another couple for my birthday August 20/20 and took the hotel and meal deal. The hotel room was very nice and clean and the staff were pleasant but not friendly and it was not busy while we were there. My husband and I stayed before and other friends did and this time we were very upset about the meal. The waitress was very abrupt and we were given the menu and said we knew we wanted the delicious beef. We were informed that we couldn t have that so I ask why put it on the menu. We were informed the Restraunt wanted to expand the patron pallets . We had the beef last time and the menu this time was almost ridiculous. However they allowed me to have the beef because it was my birthday. They only choices we had was Duck , Trout and Rabbit lamb and Gnocchi.We asked for bread and butter and the waitress informed us they had no bread and took the bread and butter plates away.
One of the appetizers was Wild Boar belly. How exciting NOT.
We were told also you could have continental breakfast but we were only allowed $10 per couple towards it and very few things were $10.
I suggest people do not take the meal deal if you are hungry or want something normal. The trout was greasy and the Duck dry. The beef was excellent.
Take the room and not the meal deal.
