I discovered Jon Wai Academy through Groupon some time ago, and it was the best thing ever. Besides the family feeling you always get when you walk through the door, they have many different styles of Kung Fu/ Martial Arts they can teach you. I attended their Women's Self defense class 6/15/13, and I must say Wow! This was my first self defense class and I had no idea what to expect, it was great. Jon and his instructors showed us some very simple and basic survival techniques that can make a huge difference in your life if, God forbid, you run into a situation where you will need to defend yourself. I hope they have another one soon so more ladies can come and take this Free class.
