The Carson site hosts more classroom style lecture...

The Carson site hosts more classroom style lectures in their conference room to watch presentations and such, while the El Segundo site offers more interactive activities due to more space.

I didn't know that awesome free tours were available at the El Segundo site until recently. Just note that the tours require RSVP about a month in advance and are only offered every other month at this location. Even so, there's no guarantee as space is limited to about 20 people. The guide mentioned that since California declared emergency drought, the tours have been extremely popular.

Give yourself about 2 hours for the presentation and tour. The guide (EJ Caldwell) did a fantastic job explaining the past, current, and future. The tour brought everything into fruition as we were able to see "yucky" water turn into clean drinking water. Part of the process is using super special filters and osmosis. The other cool thing was that the people in my group were well educated and asked excellent questions.

Water awareness is awesome and cheers to a more sustainable future!
