The ambiance in the actual dorms make you feel like you are stepping back into asylums 50+ years ago.....I have made several unannounced appearances to my loved one and it always appears as if they have not bathed her in quite some time....once you come through the door, the staff jumps up, whisks her to the back sleeping quarters and she comes back out with clean clothes, and a quick catlick to her hair. Obviously too late as the family has already observed a bird's eye view of what it's like when family is not present. Even worse , it's a downright shame that the school can not employ half educated staff to supervise the dorms. I recently spoke to a so called "supervisor" there to inquire about my sister's release after a 14 day stay in the local hospital..her actual words to me when I asked how she was doing were "I don't know the details, I'm not no doctor" my job is to only supervise. Why does the state insist on hiring dimwits? Our family members deserve MORE!
